Milling about the State Theater, Lincoln Center
Last week I returned to the State Theater to see Mark Morris' Mozart Dances. He had presented them earlier, across three nights, and this second set of evenings seemed to be a reprise. The dances were beautifully choreographed and danced. Emmanuel Ax and his wife provided live music along with a Mostly Mozart festival orchestra. It was a lovely evening.
The next day I read a review in the New Yorker. I went to the Lincoln Center site and found some videos of Mark Morris talking about his craft with clips of the process. I bought another set of tickets for the next night, in the same row. All other seats were sold out.
It appears as though for the rest of this week I'll be posting photos from the State Theater.
