A drink at the bar, State Theater, Lincoln Center
I hadn't realized how much the lobby of the State Theater reminds me of the streets of New Orleans until this past visit. The ironwork balconies bring to mind those lining the streets of downtown.
(I spent the afternoon at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Among the exhibits was one of contemporary photographs from the collection. I read a quotation from Gabriel Orozco which seemed to reflect upon what I wrote yesterday. The quotation read, "What is important is not so much what people see in the gallery or museum, but what people see after looking at these things, how they confront reality again.")
This is another photo in the series set in Lincoln Center.
