SoHo mannequins
Most days I have little time to shoot; at best I keep my camera in hand on the walk to and from work.
I'm looking around my neighborhood more. I've walked the same blocks for years, and yet I still can't find the major clothing stores. Friends will ask and I have to look them up.
Recently, there have been changes. The Moondance Diner has closed; the building has been removed to another city entirely. Jerry's has closed. I never had the chance to eat there, thinking it would remain a neighborhood institution. The space that had been vacant for so long in a building a few doors down from mine has become a luxury furniture store for pets. In a way, it's come full circle from when I first arrived. Then, it was a luxury furniture store for people.
