A woman waits on Broome Street for her resting dog
I was walking home and decided to stop by Sunrise Mart for a bento box. A woman had just left the store, and she stood on the sidewalk. Her dog stood beside her, then laid his front paws out in front of him. He slid into a prone position. The woman watched her dog. The dog did not move. The lights changed; traffic inched forward.
I stood behind them, then backed up a bit to take this picture. The dog lifted his head for a moment and then put it back down. She waited for the dog to get up of its own volition; then, her patience at an end, she lifted the leash to encourage him to his feet. The dog rose and they continued walking down the street.

Great scene, I love the contrast with the ipod ad. The dog seems a tad spoilt!
