Workers on Walker Street, NYC
When I was younger, living in Connecticut, I used to enjoy watching the garbage truck crush garbage. Whenever it would arrive I would hope that there was enough garbage in our pile to warrant the compactor. More often than not I was disapointed.
I would watch the movement from far away; sometimes from the the bathroom window. The machinery scared me, but there was something about the awesome force of the compactor that drew me in.
Earth movers and backhoes I don't find as fascinating. In elementary school I was obsessed with the Guinness Book of World Records. Within its pages I found the Terex Titan, known as the world's largest truck. I longed to see it in real life and to climb upon it. I just discovered a webcam where you can see it; it's frozen on an image from a few days ago.
In the photo above, there's something about the man on the right's stance that reminds me of Sean Connery in The Untouchables.

Great shot with all those details to be discovered in there! I also like the design of your photoblog. What system do you use? Wordpress?
