42nd street buildings, NYC
I've been spending a fair amount of time in and around 42nd and 6th. ICP sits on one corner, under the Grace building, and I've been printing there when I have the time. I've also been volunteering there on Mondays.
I took this photo while I was still taking. Workers were putting in windows, and I stood to watch. A small crowd would collect now and again and then dissipate. It was slow going. You can see a small figure just above and to the left of the 550 address.
A few weekends ago, I went to ICP to flatten prints. Afterwards I sat in Bryant Park to read. The library has set up an outdoor reading room in the park where they offer magazines and books. I picked up the New York Times Magazine and read the article about Tyra Banks.

Really interesting lighting in this shot. I like how the right building fades into the sky. It's amazing how the left building looks like a model with a few pieces to go.
thanks for the comment mike. it was neat watching the workmen put glass into the left building. not sure why they were working in that pattern tho.
