Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Moscow
They've built a new pedestrian bridge from the Church to the small isle upon which sits the Red October chocolate factory. It looked new when I visited. On the isle side, the grounds were not yet complete. Machines were still levelling the land, smoothing out the dirt.
One afternoon we bought chocolate from the company store. I was expecting a grand entrance, a beautiful gift shop. In reality, the store was housed in what looked like a temporary shed. The counters were simple, but well-stocked. We picked chocolates based on their wrappers, some of which I saved.
