From the Whitney, NYC
Speaking of shooting photos of and from museums, this is taken from the stairwell at the Whitney Museum of American Art. I can't remember exactly when I shot this, but I feel I had gone to see the Jenny Holzer exhibit, which has unfortunately closed. I had meant to see it again, but there are only so many weekends and so many things to do.
This past weekend I did manage to catch the León Ferrari and Mira Schendel exhibit at MoMA just before it closed. I had thought to visit the botanic gardens on Staten Island but got to a late start. Surfing for something else to do I was reminded of the exhibit and checked MoMA's site to learn it was closing on Monday. I quickly made my way to the museum.
